Established in 1977 and based in Boston, Roger Budge (Electrical Engineering) Ltd. provides a comprehensive range of electrical services to all sectors of the community. With over 35 years of experience we have gained a solid reputation as one of the regions leading Electrical Contractors through our excellent customer service matched with a high quality and professional service.
Workforce
At Roger Budge Electrical we employ several time-served Electricians who are skilled in the field of Electrical Contracting, all having completed the relevant qualifications required to make it through to being a fully-qualified Electrician. Ahead of these are a number of Approved Electricians all of whom have many years of experience in the industry and are fully capable of overseeing the Electricians on site and helping to see a project through to a successful completion. Making up the Electrical workforce are Electrical Improvers and then Trainees - who study for their full Electrical qualifications at college whilst gaining vital job experience and knowledge working alongside our Electricians on site.

Our office is made up of 3 experienced Estimators/Contract Managers, including the Company Director himself who is active within the organisation and controls the day-to-day operation of Roger Budge Electrical as well as the management of projects. The team also includes a CAD Operator who deals with the computer aided design aspect of all our projects, and to complete the office staff are 3 Admin/Office Personnel.

Not only do we employ trainee/apprentice staff who attend college on day release to obtain their NVQ qualifications, but we work with local colleges and training schemes to offer all other personnel every opportunity to retrain and develop their skills - gaining new certificated and qualifications to help fulfill their potential whilst at Roger Budge Electrical.

We have been included on the preferred contractors list for the reactive maintenance and small minor works for Lincolnshire County Council since its inception in 2001, and are regularly called upon by local businesses to carry out maintenance and emergency repairs - as well as schools, factories and other organisations throughout the region.

Health and Safety

An external Health and Safety consultant is appointed to assist with and ensure safe working practices throughout the company - both with our Electricians on site and within our own business premises.

Accreditations...
As an NICEIC Approved Contractor (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting), we are proven to be a reputable, reliable company who work to industry standards. With this accreditation it ensures customers that we are a competent Contractor and also shows that we work in accordance with Part P Building Regulations. Also, being NICEIC approved gives us the opportunity of being included on the Electrical Safety Register - a list for users of contracting services that showcases only fully approved Contractors.
As a CHAS Accredited contractor (Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme), we are acting in accordance with industry health & safety regulations - having been subject to inspection and tests on our health & safety policies and operations on site. This gives our customers peace of mind as well as any potential customer being able to find us on the CHAS database as a safe and approved Electrical Contractor.
Safecontractor is a leading organisation that exists to promote high standards of competence with health & safety within the Contracting industry. They assess the health & safety practices of Contractors so that their clients are only obtaining the services of competent Contractors; and for Roger Budge Electrical this allows us to be on a well respected list that is sought out by a vast array of companies, some of these in need of a safe and reliable Electrical Contractor.
​As a member of​ Constructionline we are fast tracked when it comes to receiving and applying for project tenders. This is a government recognised certification scheme that provides users a list of pre-qualified Contractors who have been inspected and approved as having the relevant industry qualifications - saving the company time and money when looking for a Contractor. It is also a great way of marketing as enables us to be on a reputable and trusted list which is accessed by companies throughout the public and private sectors.​
​As an organisation committed to​ CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) we show a willingness to employ as many Electricians as possible who have shown a competence towards on site safety and accident-reduction. For doing so these employees can apply for and receive a CSCS card, proving their competence and skill; this card being something that more and more Building Contractors require Electricians to have before being allowed on site.
